How to make your dining room much better?

A dining table needs as much decoration as other areas of your home. Dining table decoration is only one aspect to keep in mind while decorating a dining space. An aesthetically kept dining table makes your dining experience more enjoyable. So, use accessories to beautify your dining room table.
While decorating your dining table, always consider two things: aesthetics and function. Thus, place only those accessories that have both the elements. Also, a decorative hanging lighting fixture above the dining table is a basic necessity to illuminate the area. You could also place a rug underneath the table to bring some colour to the eating space. Here are ways to beautify your table .

Runners, mats
If you don’t fancy the idea of covering up the tabletop completely, then runners are the best option. These are a narrow strip of cloth or fabric, which are spread in the center length of the table. Runners also come in varied styles and designs, with and without embellishment. Like tablecloths, you should at least invest in two runners — one for regular use and the other for special occasions. Placing pretty table mats alongside will add to the look of your dining area. You can match the mats with the runner for a coordinated decor style.

Centrepieces
Adding a medium size centrepiece is like giving final touch to the dining table decor. You can either base the theme of the entire décor around the centrepiece, or do it vice versa. From vases, candelabra to interesting showpieces — all can serve as dining centrepieces.

Lighting
Your dining area should always be well lit. Apart from hanging a light fixture above the dining table, you can add other lighting objects on to the dining table, such as such as wine rack,wine glass,coffee set,tea set etc.

It is also a good idea to carry over a theme or color scheme from one to another dining room. Even if your living room and dining room are quite separate, if their home decoration styles are too different, this could jar when going from one to the other room.
